Marina Vasilkova,

Choirmaster. Marina Vasilkova is a choirmaster of the Novaya Opera Theatre. She graduated from the Glinka Music College in Magnitogorsk in 1995 and from the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory in 2001 where she studied choral conducting with Professor Lyashko.

Marina has been an assistant choirmaster in the Novaya Opera Theatre since November 2001. She has helped prepare the following productions: Leoncavallo’s I Pagliacci, Bellini’s Norma, Strauss' Die Fledermaus, the Maria Callas musical offering, Valdgradt’s The Cat’s House, Dargomyzhsky’s Rusalka and Glinka’s Ruslan and Lyudmila in concert, Viva Verdi!, Prokofiev's cantatas Ivan the Terrible and Alexander Nevsky, Fauré’s Requiem and symphonic works by Russian composers.
