Igor Manko,

Choirmaster. Igor Manko is a choirmaster of the Novaya Opera Theatre. He graduated from the Krasnodar Music College with a degree in choral conducting. In 1990, he completed his studies as choral conductor and teacher at the Moscow State Conservatory. In 1989–1992, he attended master classes for symphony conductors in the Stuttgart Bachakademie and participated in the Europaisches musikfest international festival. In 1991–1993, Igor worked with the Choir of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting.

Igor Manko joined the Novaya Opera in 1993 as a chorister, performing in all the productions of the theatre. As a choirmaster he worked on the following productions: Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Verdi’s La Traviata, Wagner’s Lohengrin and many others.
